I had the pleasure of reviewing Richard Rowntree's award-winning horror film, Dogged for anythinghorror.com . I thoroughly enjoyed it and I hoped that Richard would continue on the path of horror and I'm glad to see that holds true with his newest horror film, Nefarious, which tells the story of a home invasion gone horrifically wrong! The film is currently being crowdfunded on Kickstarter , you can checkout the press release below for more info on Nefarious, as well as how to pledge and how to follow the film's progress through social media! Summer is upon us and if you're like me and don't do the whole "fun in the sun" thing then TV binge watching is probably on your summer to do list. As a serial binge watcher I find that some shows really benefit from a binge watch, rather than a forced weekly view. So, I figured instead of gorging yourself on Walking Dead reruns, there are several great horror shows that deserves a binge view when you are wanting to avoid the sun. The Addams Family - Do I really need to explain why you need to binge watch The Addams Family? How can you not love a completely devoted family that just so happens to love the darker things in life. From Uncle Fester's adventures, witnessing Lurch's range of emotions to the episode where Morticia and Gomez meet for the first time, it is a great trip down memory lane with America's first Gothic Family. You can catch up with the kooky and spooky family on Hulu.com . iZombie - As horror fans we are starting to feel the...
I had been wanting to see this movie for awhile large in part is because I'm a completest and I had watched the previous 2 and I figured I would finish out the series. Another reason was because various horror sites had touted this film as a bloody gory good time mess with some great scenes of carnage. Well after viewing this film you can't believe everything you read. This installment finds a group of friends on a bachelor party outing who charter a boat for fun at sea to which they detour to an isolated island which of course has a flesh eating virus in the water and horror clique insanity ensues. I feel the only way I can sum up this film is as if Wyatt and Gary from Weird Science went on a Scooby adventure where everyone has flesh eating virus and those people puke on your face. The characters were the typical cookie cutter horror clique of lead guy getting ready to get married to a girl that is way way out of his league, his nice friend, his douchebag friend and a slutty...
